Icetölt 2003 in Dänemark
The group organizing the Icetölt in Denmark, has allready had the first meeting planning next years event.
First of all the date for next years show is set: March 22. in Aarhus Skatingarena - same place as the previous two years! Jugedes will be Marlise Grimm, Pia Hansen - and we are working to get Siggi Sædmundsson to come to juged too!
We have great hopes, that this show will be very good, and so far we have a tratition of letting world champions winn!!! The first year Johann R. Skulasson won the Icetölt and last year Johann Häggberg won - Who will it be in 2003?
The group behind the show decided to give Dkr. 20.000 from the budget to two differet sportevents in Denmark. Dkr. 5.000,- have been given to a major competitionorganizer and the money must be spent on international jugedes in world Ranking classes. Dkr. 15.000,- will be given to startboxes for paceraces at the two national tracks in Denmark: "Hedeland" and Herning, where the WC will be held in 2003. In that way the money made from the show by the topriders are given back to the same riders.
Tickets will be sold from the beginning of December. More information will be given on the web-site www.icetoelt.dk, as the event come closer.
